Your first spray tan at Studio Gldn is all about creating the perfect, golden glow—customized just for you. Our goal is to make the experience seamless, comfortable, and confidence-boosting from start to finish. Here’s what you can expect:

1. Personalized Consultation

Every appointment begins with a brief skin and tone consultation. Your artist artist will ask you a series of questions to understand your skin type, tan goals and lifestyle

2. Skin Preparation

You’ll be guided through quick pre-tan steps, such as removing deodorant, makeup, or lotions. We provide disposable undergarments, hairnets, and barrier cream. A refreshing PH balancing spray is applied as a prep spray to rehydrate the skin Your comfort and privacy are always respected throughout the process.

3. Custom Spray Tan Application

Using high quality, professional grade solutions, your artist will apply your custom spray tan in smooth, even layers. The process takes about 15-20 minutes, ensuring flawless, streak-free coverage. Every detail—from contouring to natural blending—is perfected for an even finish.

4. Drying & Aftercare

Once your tan is complete, we’ll use a finishing powder to help set your tan and prevent that post-tan sticky feeling. You’ll receive detailed aftercare instructions, including when to rinse, how to maintain, and tips to extend the life of your glow for up to 10+ days.

5. The GLDN Reveal

After your initial rinse, your tan will gradually reveal its full depth over 24 hours, blending effortlessly with your skin for a natural, red-carpet ready glow.

Your pre – spray tan prep should include exfoliating as this is the GOLDEN RULE. Use an exfoliating mitt/ glove with a non oily scrub or a dry body brush to remove dead skin cells and debris. This will allow for a smooth and even application of the tan. – A LOOFA WILL NOT CUT IT AND DOES NOT EXFOLIATE THE SKIN.

You may wear as much or as little as you like! Depending on your tan line preferences, you may wear a bikini, undergarments or nude for no tan lines.

Every spray tan requires an initial rinse off time. You may choose between a Gradual: 8-12 hour leave on or Express: 2-4 hour leave on.

Nope! We wipe down finger nails, toe nails and even palms of hands right after so there is no staining.

Yes! However we do recommend checking in with your doctor beforehand. We can provide you with noseplugs and a mask. We also carry high quality solutions with the cleanest ingredients which is safe for expecting mommas.

No, a spray tan will not protect you from the sun or act as a barrier. You can still tan naturally on top of your spray tan! Ensure you are wearing SPF!

We recommend completing any unwanted hair removal 24-48 hours prior to your session. Shaving can be done after with a fresh razor out of the package, gently gliding the skin. It is still recommended to complete it all beforehand.

During the development period is when transfer can happen. After your initial rinse, stay moisturized and avoid excessive sweating for the first 24 hours. Maintaining your tan will allow the tan for minimal to no transfer. ( we also offer clear solution options for those wearing light coloured clothes or brides).

Yes! We highly recommend booking a trial spray tan so that we can get the perfect shade for your big day, especially if you have little to no experience with spray tanning.

We recommend opting in for our premium spray tan option as this includes our clear sweat resistant solutions & allows for minimal to no transfer onto light or white clothing.

We recommend getting your massage before your spray tan. Most massage oils will break down the spray tan causing it to fade quickly and patchy.
